The luxury department store has pulled out all the stops to ensure the inaugural Victoria, Victoria Beckham collection - which was inspired by famous cartoon character Emily The Strange - gets a suitably fabulous reception in-store; in its flagship Knightsbridge space, a video featuring La Beckham herself will be playing from 10am in a bespoke installation created by filmmaker Quentin Jones, while its Sloane Square store windows will be transformed into a Victoria, Victoria Beckham diorama featuring to crescent moons, ethereal cloudscapes and the soon-to-be-iconic 'Victoria Cat' print.
Says the real Victoria of her (other) baby: "This new line serves to channel my inner girl - it is fun and young with a distinct sense of humour. I wanted to create a collection that reaches out to a newcustomer. The Victoria range can't help but make you smile with its energy and personality."
With prices from £375, it may not be cheap, but it's a whole lot more more accessible than VBs mainline collection - and, as the lady herself has said, you get more fun for your buck, too. What more could a GLAMOUR girl ask for?
Victoria, Victoria Beckham is now available at Harvey Nichols exclusively for a two-week period; the accompanying Victoria, Victoria Beckham video will go live online at 12pm on 30 January, as well as being played in-store. HarveyNichols.com.
