A Handbag for Harper

Victoria Beckham paid a very stylish tribute to her baby daughter Sunday at New York Fashion Week. The designer, 37, who showed her latest collection at the New York Public Library, debuted a new bag, named the Harper after the seven-month-old.

Announcing its launch by way of a Twitter post, she uploaded a photo along with the words: 'Meet Harper! X vb.'

It then made an appearance on the catwalk, along with a number of other new purses and totes. Clearly intended to be a centrepiece of her accessories line, the mid-sized handbag has a short handle above a flap closure and two front pockets with gold hardware. Fans of the new design will not be able to get their hands on the bag until August, when the fall/winter 2012 collection starts filtering into stores.
